SambaSports Youth Agenda today joined other partners and stakeholders to witness the finals of the Ng’ombeni U-14 Soccer4Peace tournament, which was hosted by bro Mohamed Ratili and other Ng’ombeni youth leaders at the Ng’ombeni Primary School play Ground.SambaSports donated 5 quality soccer balls to the young boys teams, to ensure that they are fully engaged in sports to mitigate their Vulnerabilities to Drugs and Substance abuse, Juvenile Crime and violent Extremism.
The Chief guest was Principal Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture, Prof Hamadi Boga, accompanied by the recknown Sociologist, Prof Halimu Shauri from Pwani University. Other guests and supporters of the tournament included Hon Hanifa Mwajirani, Hon Binti-Ali Kibamba, Zainab Chitsangi, former area MCA Hidaya Fweda and other leaders.
SambaSports started this concept of engaging adolescent boys and girls in Sports and life skills to mitigate their Vulnerabilities within their hotspot localities, from February 2018. We are now proud that the momentum has caught up and adolescents are engaged in properly organized sporting activities across Kwale County during this festive season.
