It was a day filled with joy and endless fun and laughter as 42 students take on an educational excursion to Shimoni Caves. These students are beneficiaries of the or the English Access Microscholarship Program which is proudly funded by the US Embassy Nairobi.
The incredibly exciting field trip was one of the key activities under personal development that should be covered in the English Access Microscholarship Program.
Students had their best time observing and learning about the renowned Shimoni Caves and the 3-Sisters Giant Caves, thereby enriching their academic knowledge as well as experiencing first hand historical features of the caves.
This informative and fun filled trip also served a wide range of benefits as students had ample time to participate in different games, including paper walk, tag of war and balloon-holding that fostered further team building and cohesion.
The well balanced trip of learning and fun engaged the students with contents on Self awareness, understanding adolescence dynamics and nurturing healthier relationships.
After learning scripture and oral language skills for three consecutive weeks, the personal development trip wraped up the holiday session of the English Access Microscholarship Program.
