SambaSports Youth Agenda has its arms wide open and ready to embrace. Speaking of which, the leadership of Foundation of Educational Innovation Africa (FEI Africa) felt the warm hug as they were hosted at the SambaSports Headquarters, Kombani. The Executive Director Emma Gleeson of FEI Africa and her companion Alex Wahome had visited to speak about their projects in Kwale and the prospect of partnering with SambaSports Youth Agenda.
FEI Africa is working towards empowering individuals and communities through innovation. Their main focus has been Project Based Learning driven by passion and interests—incorporating skills into a project to solve problems in the community. These projects are student centered designed for impactful learning and equipping them with skills in critical thinking and exposing them to innovation.
FEI Africa will begin their work in Diani in the coming weeks where they will involve 20 young men and women of 22 years and older for an 8 weeks program. This engagement will equip the young people of Diani with skills and knowledge in Entrepreneurship, Tourism, Arts, Agriculture and ICT. Both SambaSports Youth Agenda and FEI Africa are looking forward to a fruitful partnership that will help elevate the status of young people in Kwale at large.
