In today’s world, where information is readily available at our fingertips, the power to read is a valuable tool that can unlock endless possibilities. It is a skill that can transform lives, inspire change, and pave the way for a better future. At SambaSports Youth Agenda, we believe in the power of education and are committed to supporting literacy programs in our community.
Recently, our team from the English Access Microscholarship Program, along with two Fulbright Program volunteers Elaine Ansah and Nadja Umlauf, visited Mrima Secondary School to donate a consignment of textbooks and other scholastic materials. The aim was to inspire and encourage a reading culture among the students and support their academic progress.
The donated books will not only aid the students in their studies but will also inspire them to read beyond the curriculum. Our hope is that the books will ignite a passion for reading and create a lifelong love for learning. We believe that education is the key to unlocking the potential of our youth and empowering them to become future leaders.
We are grateful for the support from the U.S. Embassy Nairobi and the RELO East Africa for making this donation possible. Together, we can create a brighter future for our community by empowering our youth through education and literacy programs. Let’s continue to invest in their future and give them the power to read!
