The Period Man made a comprehensive presentation on Menstrual Hygiene with demonstrations on how to use the following:
- Disposable pads
- Re-usable pads (which one can wash)
- Menstrual cups(it’s in a cup shape)
- Hot water bottle used when one is experiencing backache or abdominal pains during periods.
The Period Man also emphasized that the adolescent males should be gentle and supportive to their female counterparts during menstruation. The boys vowed to never intimidated or make fun of the girls who are in that condition but instead be the first people to offer help when needed.
